Reporting a wrong listing

If a fact on a listing does not match the official page, send us three things:

  1. The URL of the listing on AfriWay.
  2. What is wrong: the deadline, the eligible countries, the benefits, the application link or anything else.
  3. A link to the official source showing the correct information.

With those three items we can usually verify and correct a listing within a few days. Reports without a link to the official page take longer, because we have to locate and confirm the source ourselves.

Suggesting an opportunity

You can suggest a scholarship, grant, fellowship, internship, competition, conference, accelerator or free training that is open to applicants from African countries. Send the official page of the programme. We list it only if we can verify the facts on that page. We do not accept paid listings, and suggestions from the organisation itself are treated exactly like suggestions from readers.

Questions about applications

We cannot answer questions about the status of your application, we cannot submit applications on your behalf, and we cannot contact a funder for you. Those questions belong to the organisation that runs the programme; its contact details are on the official page that every listing links to.

Privacy and data

For questions about the data the site collects, read the privacy page first. Requests concerning your data can be sent to the same address.

Press and partnerships

Media enquiries and partnership proposals can be sent to as well. Please note that AfriWay does not sell listings, does not place sponsored content inside listings or guides, and does not act as an agent for any programme.

Response times

We aim to answer within a few working days. Corrections that concern a deadline are handled first.
