What the two tools do

The eligibility checker takes the handful of facts that decide most applications: your nationality, your current or target study level, your field, your age and whether you hold an English test score. It compares them with the official requirements we have recorded for one specific opportunity. Requirements that can be checked mechanically, such as a list of eligible countries or a maximum age, are checked by plain rules before any language model is involved. If you fail one of those hard requirements you get an immediate answer and no model is called at all. Only when the rules cannot decide does a model read the official facts, the rules result and your profile, and write a short assessment with the reasons, up to three next steps and a list of things it could not judge.

The motivation letter drafter takes four short paragraphs in your own words: your background, your achievements, why you want this particular programme and what you plan to do afterwards. It combines them with the same official facts and returns a draft of roughly three hundred to four hundred and fifty words in the language of the page you are on. The draft is meant to be a starting point that you edit, not a finished document to submit as it is.

What the tools never do

Both tools see only two things: the official facts we have verified for the opportunity and the text you type. They never see the wider internet, other applicants, or anything about you beyond the form. The deadline and the link to the official page shown with a result always come from our database, never from the model, so they cannot be invented. The letter drafter is instructed not to add degrees, grades, awards, institutions, dates, names or numbers you did not provide, and every draft is checked against your input before it is shown to you. A draft that mentions a figure you did not write, contains a link, or is not in the expected language is sent back for correction, and if the second attempt still fails you see an error rather than a doubtful letter. Neither tool submits anything on your behalf or contacts the funder.

Limits

The tools are free and require no account. To keep them free, each visitor may run up to ten eligibility checks and three letter drafts per day, with at least five minutes between letters. Identical checks for the same opportunity and profile are answered from a cache for thirty days and do not count against your allowance. There is also a daily budget for the whole site; when it is used up the tools pause until the next day and say so plainly.

Privacy

We do not ask for your name, e-mail address or any document. A random identifier is stored in a cookie so that the daily limits work, and a salted hash of your network address is kept for the same reason; both are useless outside this site. The text you type is sent to the model provider to produce the answer and is not used to train anything on our side. Eligibility results are cached under a hash of your answers, without any personal data. The official page remains the only authority: always read it before applying.
