A one-off EUR 5,000 grant for international students starting an English-taught Master's at Radboud University in the Netherlands. It is a partial award. Apply by 31 January 2027.
Radboud University offers the NL Scholarship to international students who plan to take an English-taught Master's degree in the Netherlands. There are 22 awards for the 2027-2028 academic year, and applicants from every African country are eligible.
Who can apply
You need a place in an English-taught Master's programme at Radboud University in one of these areas: arts, humanities, law, business and management, natural sciences or social sciences. You must also meet the English language requirement of the programme you choose.
What it offers
The grant is worth EUR 5,000 in total. You receive it once, during the first year of your study programme, and it cannot be awarded to the same person twice. This is not a full scholarship: it does not cover the costs of living and studying in the Netherlands, so you need a separate plan for tuition and daily expenses.
Deadline
Submit your application in the online OSIRIS Application system by 31 January 2027, 23:59 CET at the latest.
Before you apply
Check the language requirement of your chosen Master's programme now and book an English test early if you need one. Work out a realistic budget before you apply, because this award pays only part of your costs. Competition is strong, so give the selection committee clear evidence of your grades and your motivation.
