WVA/MSD Veterinary Student Scholarship 2026

The World Veterinary Association, working with MSD Animal Health, is running the 2026 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to veterinary students in eligible African countries, and it forms part of a larger fund of USD 200,000 that the two organisations have set aside for veterinary students this year.

From that fund, the programme is granting 40 individual scholarships worth USD 5,000 each. The award is designed for students already enrolled in veterinary studies, at undergraduate level, in the field of health and medicine.

All applications must be written and submitted in English; the World Veterinary Association will not consider applications submitted in any other language. The World Veterinary Association and MSD Animal Health have set the deadline for completed applications to the WVA/MSD Veterinary Student Scholarship 2026 as 15 October 2026, so interested students should plan to finish their application well ahead of that date.
