What is the contest?
SEARCA, the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture, runs this photo contest, now in its 20th edition. The 2026 edition invites images that show how people produce and share food today while building food systems fit for tomorrow.
What can you win?
The first prize is USD 1,000, the second prize USD 800 and the third prize USD 500, each with a certificate.
Who can enter?
The contest is open to photographers of any level, including entrants from every African country. Each entry must include the required details in English, so prepare your captions and personal information in that language.
How and when to submit
Entries are submitted through the official contest website between 16 July 2026 and 30 September 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (GMT+8). Read the guidelines and mechanics on the official page before you upload your photos, because entries that do not follow them are not considered.
