CUHK-MAICS Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship 2027-2028 in Hong Kong

The CUHK-MAICS Diversity & Inclusion Scholarship supports students on the MA in Intercultural Studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. It funds study in the humanities and social sciences for the 2027-2028 intake.

Who can apply

Priority goes to applicants with financial need who are citizens of Belt and Road Initiative countries in Africa and in other regions. African applicants are therefore a priority group, but the scholarship is not reserved for them. You also need to meet the English requirement: an IELTS (Academic) overall band of at least 6.5, or a TOEFL score of at least 79 on the internet-based test, 213 on the computer-based test or 550 on the paper-based test.

What it offers

The scholarship covers full tuition, which the university sets at HKD 190,000 per annum. It also pays a cost-of-living stipend of HKD 9,000 a month, worth HKD 90,000 in total. The programme lasts 12 months.
