Erasmus Mundus scholarship for the two-year EMABG Master's: tuition, insurance and EUR 1,400 a month. Open to all nationalities, with applications accepted until 15 January 2027.
The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG) is a two-year Master's programme in the natural sciences and agriculture, coordinated by BOKU. The application round for the third intake opened on 15 September 2026, and applicants of any nationality are welcome.
What the scholarship covers
The EMJM scholarship pays EUR 1,400 per month for 24 months. Tuition fees and insurance are covered by the programme, and the monthly payment is meant for food, accommodation, travel costs and visa. Each intake has only a limited number of scholarships, around 15.
Language rules for African applicants
If you come from an African country, your high-school certificate or BSc diploma counts as your language certificate. The English requirements still decide which study tracks are open to you, so check the rules for your country on the official page before you pick your tracks.
