CyprusAid Scholarship for Selected African Countries 2026/2027

The University of Nicosia, together with CyprusAid and the Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is offering a full scholarship scheme for students from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana, Mauritius, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania and Madagascar who wish to study in Cyprus.

Undergraduate scholarships cover full tuition fees for English-taught Bachelor's degree programmes at the University of Nicosia, excluding the Medical School. At postgraduate level, the scholarship covers full tuition for Master's programmes in Business Administration, International Relations and Eastern Mediterranean Studies, and Digital Media and Communications, as well as for the PhD programme in International Relations.

Scholarships cover the full tuition fees for the chosen programme, plus accommodation, a monthly sponsorship allowance, medical examinations, visa or residence permit fees, insurance, and other personal or administrative expenses. Applicants must hold a passport or official identification confirming nationality from one of the eligible countries, meet the University of Nicosia's admission requirements for their chosen programme, and meet its English language requirements.

To apply, interested candidates should contact the University of Nicosia's International Admissions Office by email, referencing the CyprusAid scholarship scheme, and submit the documents requested for their level of study, including a valid passport, academic transcripts and proof of English proficiency. This intake is for entry in Cyprus in the spring semester, and applications must be submitted by 6 November 2026.
