Relais Connect & Create 2027: Africa-Europe Communications Fellowship

Relais Connect & Create is a professionalisation fellowship run under Connect & Create, the sub-Saharan Africa component of the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture programme led by the Institut français together with the Goethe-Institut. Each year it selects 16 journalists, communicators, content creators, influencers or media hosts to support the communications of a Tandem Créatif cultural cooperation project for 11 months.

Applicants must be over 18 years old, fluent in French or English, and have at least 2 years of experience in communications, journalism, media or content creation. They must currently live in one of twelve eligible countries: South Africa, Benin, Cameroon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Uganda, Congo, Rwanda or Senegal.

Selected fellows follow ten thematic training sessions on storytelling, social media, editorial strategy and press relations, plus individual mentoring, while handling the communications of their assigned Tandem Créatif project from their home country.

Applications opened on 15 September 2026 and close on 13 October 2026. Candidates apply online with a CV and a portfolio of two to three past projects; applications may be submitted in French or English.
